Fanaa wouldn't have been the right movie for the return of SRK-Kajol jodi, though, I feel. I don't think there's any question about SRK in Fanaa because Kunal's first choice for the role was Aamir and once he got Aamir, he wouldn't have considered any other.

I hope Fanaa will be remembered for more than just the Kajol-Aamir jodi, and I hope we will see Aamir and Kajol together again some time in the future. This was so the ultimate jodi movie because everything is about these two characters and the drama is sky-high when it comes to intensity but I still want Aamir and Kajol again, to further proof they make an absolutely amazing jodi.

My sense of this movie is that it got Kajol back. Now we need another movie by someone who really understands what Kajol can do. I don't think Kunal Kohli is the guy. He did wonders with Rani and Saif, but Kajol needs a different director.

I thought Kajol was excellent in Fanaa, and the director actually focused on her ability to perform instead of just teaming her up with an actor and bringing out the chemistry. Kajol has a kick-ass role and she just made Fanaa her film as opposed to making people feel they need to go just to see her with lets say SRK. Aamir was good to, but Kajol was fabulous.

I agree Fanaa could have been much better and it had many defects, but this movie is definitely my favorite of this year.
