What a neat idea! Here are some pictures from the two different Irans: The land of Cyrus the Great, and the Axis of Evil partner!! This is Mount Damavand (5671 m) as seen from southern face, Poloor, North of Iran. This mountain is snow-capped all year and is visible from the northern suburbs of Tehran. Roudkhan Castle, North of Iran. It is older than 3,000 years and the largest brick castle of Iran. This is from a beautiful village in the north called Masooleh; the houses are stacked in layers, so each home's roof is the sidewalk of the one above. Gates of All Nations, Persepolis, circa 500 B.C.
No clue where this is, but this type of site was a common place during the war (and to the present) in the streets of Tehran.
My country used to be a beautiful place; now it is facing destruction and that is very sad indeed...

Thank you for sharing Sam! Very nice pictures! I have many friends from Iran but I have never been there, but it would be great if I go to Iran someday

And hassow, I hope you get to go to Iran some day (when it is safe and not so crazy); it is really beautiful and a pity it has come to this.
