I think Aamir deserves a topic of his own, not only for Fanaa but for many other hits.
I wasn't quite so excited about him until I saw Rang De Basanti. After that, I watched Lagaan, (yes, I know I was behind) Sarfarosh, QSQT, Mela, Mangal Pandey, DCH, and many others. So of course, I was jumping out of my seat to watch Fanaa.
I think he has a friendly quality about him even though he's very hard-working. He seems very at ease when acting, especially in a comedy. And looks very comfortable in his roles. In fact, when I saw his various movies, I didn't see Aamir but instead, his character. He seems to slip so easily into the characters to make it seem as if they're actually real people in real life and this is the person who's going to tell the story.
Okay, I shouldn't make this too long. So I just want to say that I hope Aamir is here to stay and that he doesn't go hibernating again.
