well,i have to say that my bollywood obsession started with hrithik roshan and not with kajol or srk (as i mentioned in some other forum) . i was one of those fans who was obsessed with hrithik when kaho naa pyar hai came out. i made an album of his pics then i had posters of his all over my room and books. when his films started to flop i was sooo depressed but eventually my hrithik's obsession faded but. he still remains one of my moosstttttt favorite actors of the industry. what do u guys have to say about hrithik?

That he got his start because of the prevalence of nepotism in Bollywood can only be countered by the fact that he is very good looking and boy, can he dance, so maybe an argument could be made that he would have eventually made it onto the big screen. However, having your dad show case you opposite more established stars definitely has its benefits! That said, I don't begrudge him much because I actually like him. I really liked him in Mission Kashmir and had the director had the guts to end the movie in a semi-realistic way, it would have been an outstanding movie! And like I said, boy, can he dance...!

He can dance but i havent seen anything GREAT of his yet. Krish & KMG were good performances but anyone could have done K3g. his dancing gave him the upper hand. i have yet to see Mission:Kashmir though. and i think Jhoda Akbar (ashutosh gowariker) will be good for him & Dhoom II as well

Am I the only one who doesn't think his dancing is all that? I mean yes, he can certainly move, but I think he overdoes it. If he toned it down just a bit, it would be great.

^^You're definately not the only one. He does overdo it, it looks quite robotic and weird at times and isn't really a joy to watch.

^^You're definately not the only one. He does overdo it, it looks quite robotic and weird at times and isn't really a joy to watch. I agree with you both in that, it seems to me, the more popular he gets, the more he seems "robotic," to use your word. I liked him much better earlier in terms of his dancing. I think if you contrast him with, say, Madhuri, her movements are natural and fun and so smooth that you forget she is dancing and just get mesmerized. The more Hrithik does huge and elaborate dance numbers, the more he loses that touch, I think. I have not seen Krrish, but hanging upside down from trees or swaying your arms from side to side while wearing those god-awful pants don't count as dancing!! I love both the song CCCC and Pyaar Ki Ek Kahani songs, but cannot stand to watch those videos. They boy can dance; use him!!
