Do you think there are any major factors affecting bollywoods popularity?

Hey people,

This is for my media studies critical research for my A levels at school so please just quickly anwser the poll and if you want and can than leave your comment as well.

I think that bollywood is gettin more and more popular in the UK because of the growing amount of Asains. This means that the demand for more bollywood movies is always increasing. Also as the UK is becoming more multi cultured, bollywood is being accepted in to the culture and is making it into the mainstream as the UK seems to be fascinated with the Asain culture. Other factors such as Shilpa winning Big Brother and having so many people supporting her would have an affect as they would also be supporting her movies by watchin them (such as Sky dedicating a day to her movies) would allow people to broaden their outlook and possibly watch more bollywood movies.
