This isn't a news article (so I wonder whether it belongs here, but couldn't find a more appropriate place for it!). But I for one was surprised to learned that Tanisha was Kajol's sister. I learned that while watching a segment on Namaste America about siblings. And the segment was so sad and painted Tanisha in such a pathetic light, saying that while Kajol is a superstar and can do anything she likes, her sister had to take off much of her clothes and show a good bit of skin to be noticed and cast in Neal N' Nikil, which was a total flop anyway. It made me wonder how I'd feel if I were the sister of Kajol and the cousin of Rani. I'd probably become a doctor or something and leave acting to them! I feel really bad for Tanisha, but simply judging by her photos and the video clip of NNN I saw on TV, she simply doesn't have the charm or the looks of neither her sister nor her cousin. God knows I wouldn't want to be compared to Kadz and Rani every single day of my career!!  |

I agree Sam she shouldn't carry on if she's going to be compared to sister, cousin and even mother! But then Abhishek surprised us so you never do know!

Well if she wants to prove herself as an actress she sure made a dumb decision by picking NNN, but maybe it looked good on paper...who knows? I'll give her another chance anyway.

I think if I were in her shoes (which I clearly am not, so what do I know?!), I wouldn't do NNN, either. In other words, I wouldn't want my debut role to be that .... errr.... what's the word, "cheap"? Especially when my sister and my cousin are known for their class and demand so much respect, particularly Kajol.
I feel like NNN is something I wouldn't want on my resume. Both Rani and Kajol have had "iffy" roles in movies that were terrible movies, but none of them ever had to be trashy (even Rani in KKHH was ok, even though I thought her clothes were a bit OTT!).
That said, I'm willing to give her another chance if she manages to bag a respectable role and not just a skin-fest one! I'm not a prude when it comes to film, but I really respect people like Kajol who became so popular without ever having to compromise.

I think NnN may have been the opportunity "too good to pass out on". I mean, besides the fact she had to star opposite Uday, eurgh. It's a YRF film, a "different", new kind of film at that so it could've looked good on paper and maybe with a different direction, could've been a decent film.
I actually haven't even seen it so I probably shouldn't judge. The reactions to it vary from "Eurgh awful!" to "It's okay if you think of it as a HW romantic comedy" so I guess it could be okay if watched with the right attitude, but I don't know, I'm not really too keen on giving it a try.
I hope Tanisha will eventually be able to bring out the Mukherjee charm. If not, well, there's always VJing or something. ;D

Haven't seen NnN and I don't plan to, thanks to numerous reviews Found this animation of the two of them. They look really cute together. Perhaps it's just Kajol.   |

neal n nikki is the most disgusting film n pathetic film i have ever seen.and sorry to say that tanisha does not know acting at all.cant believe that she's the sister of kajol.

hum...
i've see popcorn khao with tanisha and i like her a lot paired with ashkay kapoor.
many girls i know have see neal'n nikki and find it funny.
I have it but still didn't see it so i can't give my opinion on nnn...
i think it's impossible to compare tanisha to kajol or rani... They 're from the same family, that's all...
