Zinta's next release will be Karan Johar's Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna (KANK) releasing in August. The film is said to be Johar's take on marital relationships and infidelity. Zinta plays Rhea Saran, wife of Dev Saran (Shah Rukh Khan).
"Rhea is the fashion editor of a magazine in New York City. She's something I haven't played before. She's distinct and has a very strong characterisation."
Does she believe in the sanctity of marriage and would she give a second chance to an erring husband? "I do believe in the institution of marriage and I personally feel it should last forever. I want mine to last forever. But just because I worked in a film on marital relationships doesn't make me a 'guru' on the topic. KANK is a different take on marriages."
