cant wait for the dvd to be out!!!!!!!but the pirated (amazing quality)original version of tyhe dvd is out.

Special features are okay.

So little deleted scenes, I was surprised.

Most of the features, as a huge Fanaatic, I had seen prior to the release - the Fanaa For You video, the In-Conversation bit... They were nice, though.

The 30 Mins with Kunal MTV thingy was dull, but I liked the script-reading, though the audio on that thing was dreadful, sadly. But it was nice to see Kajol and Aamir acting "off-camera", and a show of how the two different styles of working don't really clash.

What I mean by that is that Aamir obviously is very focused on the script-reading, it's a part of his work for the role, his preparation. Kajol on the other hand is aloof, and just reading - she doesn't bring on the acting until when the camera is on, and she actually cracks up a couple of times while reading. Pagal. ;)

It's great to see the deleted video, makes you SO glad they cut it off and replaced it with what we now know as MHM.

Agreed. Got hold of that song and what a bore it is! Thank God they re-shot it, the new version is one of the highlights of the film.

Fanaa is a amazing movie! I really liked it, and I cryed so much!
Kajol was as usual WONDERFUL!!

yayyy!i finally got the dvd!and me too glad that the song mere haath mein is re shot.the original version was colourless and all snow and aamir's chubbiness did not help too but i enjoyed the script reading.kaju was soo goofy n all the time laughing.and the deleted scenes disappointed.only 2 scenes and that too both the scenes were short n boring.but kunal's commentry duriung the film was really something.he's in the awe of both of kajol n aamir.but on the whole the dvdv disappointed me a bit but the kunal's commentry made it i guess.

KK is maybe almost too in awe of Aamir and Kajol. I mean, as a viewer we are in awe of them but as a director he should be able to look at them critically to get what he wants from his film from them - he's the director and the mastermind, it's his film and while he should allow the stars their space, he should also keep in mind they work for him, no matter how huge stars they are.

Still, I do agree with him whenever he praises the two actors' performances in Fanaa.

Thats cos its Aamir and Kajol's film all the way! Kunal is a waste of a director in this film. if it wasnt for these two talented actors nobody would have looked twice at Fanaa
